2013 Easels in Frederick
June 21—22

On June 18, 30 juried artists from across the nation will descend on Frederick County with the same mission for the next four days: To capture the county's charming towns, landscapes and mountain views on canvas in competition for $14,000 in cash prizes. Their collective 100+ plein-air paintings will be exhibited and judged at the Grand Exhibition June 21-22. And every artwork displayed will be for sale!

Still more talented artists will hit the town on June 22 for the intense 2-hour Quick Draw Contest. Witness art in the making as more than 70 artists line up their easels on six blocks in downtown Frederick and paint against the clock for $1,500 in prizes. Buy your favorite art on the spot!
